Tip: LM Studio releases installers for Intel and Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) on macOS and supports x86 and ARM Windows builds where available. See official release notes for details.

Install notes

  • Windows: run the .exe installer and follow the prompts.
  • macOS: open the .dmg, drag LM Studio to Applications.
  • Linux: download the .AppImage, then chmod +x LM_Studio-*.AppImage and run it. Some distributions need libfuse or additional libs.

Checksums & verification

If the official site publishes SHA256 checksums, compare them with the file you downloaded. Example (replace with real filename):
